Today, I had the privilege of spending a few hours in Belmont. The colors this year are odd. We dropped temps earlier in the season than usual, but are also much drier—there is currently a two-week burn ban in effect if that’s any indication.
With all of that, the trees are just as confused as we are. They turned early, then started dropping leaves, then weather came back to more seasonal temps, so here we are with an array of trees that part green, part bare, and part turned.
Still beautiful and something that makes me love the area I live in.
