Recently attended a workshop and let someone borrow my Lamy Safari. It hasn’t written quite right since, with an odd scratchiness to it.
I cleaned the nib, tried a fresh load of ink, did a full tear down and clean, and still no luck.
So it was time for a new nib, just to make sure I wasn’t crazy.
Went from a fine to an extra-fine and quite like the change. While I had the extension tubes out, figured I’d go ahead and play with the mess a little.
